Video presents views of al-Qaida’s European jihadists in Syria

A few days ago, al-Jazeera English aired a documentary called “People & Power – Western Jihadis in Syria.” The film, which includes an interview with Dr. Landis, presents discussions with articulate, English-speaking jihadists in Syria’s al-Qaida organization, Jabhat al-Nusra. As members of al-Qaida, such jihadists maintain a position involving: 1) opposition to the self-declared Islamic State, 2) a struggle against the Assad regime (specifically because it “oppresses Muslims”), and 3) a war against America and the West who are blamed for trying to prevent the development of a prosperous and powerful Muslim nation.

 

Other films from the makers of this documentary, Tom Greenwood and Nagieb Khaja, who went to Syria and tracked down Nusra members for his interviews at great personal risk, can be found on the website for their organization, North Bridge Film.

in 2002, netanyahu lobbied for bush iraq invasion. doing so only benefited iran. israel empowered iranian regional expansion. despite bibi’s bellyaching, mossad and the rest of israeli establishment supports iran talks. there are elements of american security apparatus that are screened directly through tel aviv. israel retains too much influence for obama to implement foreign policy without israeli buy-in. media stories about israel & obama clashing are fiction meant to disguise agenda.

israel benefits from an unleashed iran to act as predator against sunnis.

israel recent killing of hezbollah leader, by targeting his convoy, exposed a previous non aggression pact between israel & hezbollah so hezbollah could concentrate on killing syrians. israel was happy to oblige. it is likely israel has a covert non agression pact with iran. it has been reported israel has met with iran in closed door meetings in geneva.

israel complains iran is an existential threat. if this were true, they would have toppled assad long ago. this is the quickest way to weaken iran. failure to do so tips israel’s hand. they are lying when they say iran is a threat. instead, they have fomented and unleashed a shia versus sunni war. people who endured genocide are now implementing one.
